Kathleen Sanders, NP

Kathleen Sanders, FNP, MSN, MPH completed the Fellowship in Integrative Medicine in 2006 at the University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil and is also a Bravewell Fellow. She currently practices Integrative Medicine at the Center for Integrative Medicine and Wellness at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, Connecticut. Kathleen has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for 29 years and is board certified. She completed a Master’s in Public Health at Columbia University.

Kathleen provides Integrative Medicine consultations with a focus on mind-body medicine specializing in stress management, pain management, insomnia, eating issues and lifestyle counseling. She is a Reiki practitioner and has completed the training to use Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques for eating issues - Mindfulness based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT), developed by Dr. Jean Kristeller and informed by the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD - as well as MBSR groups for other health issues. Kathleen teaches guided imagery for patients pre-surgically using the technique developed by Peggy Huddleston and offers Clinical Hypnosis.
