“In the past eight years, with Bravewell support, the nine clinical centers participating in the Bravewell Clinical Network have developed best practices and successful models of care and created educational resources to help others in the implementation of integrative medicine. Their collective knowledge is informing and improving health care throughout the United States.”
The Bravewell Clinical Network
The true test and benefit of integrative medicine is in the care of patients.
In 2003, The Bravewell Collaborative adopted a strategy to empower and accelerate the growth of leading clinical centers of integrative medicine, which could then serve as models for change in the larger health care delivery system. These centers held their first meeting in the spring of 2004 and have continued to meet twice yearly.
Members of the Clinical Network collectively see more than 12.500 patients per month, and conduct joint research through BraveNet, a practice-based research network. In addition, successful models of care have been developed and are presented through the Bravewell Best Practices project.
